From Concept to Cure

We believe that to make a cure a reality we must intensely and relentlessly focus on the end goal – translating research into effective clinical trials. Functional reconstruction of an injured spinal cord is the goal of our international collaborative research efforts.

Vision:

To be an international organisation, bringing together all components necessary to achieve a cure for chronic spinal cord injury

Values:

To act in a manner that is always respectful of patients with spinal cord injury
To act in a manner where the sole goal is to develop effective therapies for patients with chronic spinal cord injury
To provide the public, the media and all stakeholders with balanced and honest representations of progress towards an effective treatment of chronic spinal cord injury
To facilitate and assist researchers and clinicians to gain funds for projects focussed on achieving functional reconstruction of the injured spinal cord
To be an advocate for patients with chronic spinal cord injury
To educate the public as to the status and needs of patients suffering from chronic spinal cord injury
To facilitate collaboration between organisations involved in advancing the care and cure of chronic spinal cord injury
