StepAhead is a leader in the field of spinal cord injury research as a result of the outstanding reputation and individual and collective contributions of our International Clinical Review Board members, the talents and skill of our collaborators, and the world class quality of our spinal research projects.

It is the application of this knowledge that will facilitate the development of a combination of approaches and techniques to enable a cure – a cure we firmly believe can only be unveiled through our national and international collaborative programmes.

Our Primary Scientific Goals:

• To enhance the work that has been performed in laboratories around the world and combine the safest and promising results to produce a combination treatment for chronic spinal cord injury patients.
• To implement clinical trials of both single and multi-component therapies within three years.
